How does FSC® contribute to climate action?
Firstly, forests play an essential role in climate action regulation both locally and as part of the water cycle.
Secondly, they are the key ecosystem that removes carbon dioxide from the atmosphere.
FSC® helps to end the loss and degradation of the forest system. This is done by promoting sustainable management and restoration programmes which are key to achieving positive climate action.
