Products carrying the FSC® label

Products carrying the FSC® label

There are now millions of Products carrying the FSC® label, but what does this actually mean?

I must admit that when I first started here at Interface although I recognised that label, and had a good idea of what it meant, I did not have a full understanding of how they ensure our forests remain for all, forever.

Over the past few years, I have learned that the label is exclusive to wood and paper products. Who would have thought that it could also be relevant rubber products such as Wellington boots and tyres?

What do the FSC Labels on a Product Mean?

In December of last year, FSC International published a video explaining what the FSC label on products actually means.

It is only a couple of minutes long and if you do get the chance to watch, then it really is worth the time.

What is FSC Certification?

FSC® Certification ensures that from forest to end-user, the FSC® materials have been traced at every stage. The logo allows customers to identify that the products they purchase come from well-managed forests with high ethical standards.
