ISO 9001 All you need to Know

ISO 9001: All you need to Know

Even the smallest business can benefit greatly from ISO 9001 certification, and we’ve got the best team to help you get there in the most efficient and cost-effective way.

It all starts with a quick and easy phone call with our brilliant admin team, who will guide you through the process and define what steps come next for your type of business. Don’t worry if you haven’t got a clue where to start for certification, we are here and happy to explain everything to you and put your mind at ease.

So what will happen?

Preparation is key to becoming ISO 9001 certified, and depending on the size of your organisation, you can expect to achieve certified status within 3 to 6 months.

Once you are aware of the process, and have received a quote from our quotes team, we will arrange the first visit. Depending on your level of awareness and development of your management system, this will be a Gap Analysis or Stage 1 audit. A gap analysis highlights any potential non-conformities and areas where your management system needs more work, and helps ensure you get the best out of your certification. The Stage 1 Audit involves an auditor visiting your company and checking that all is in order and that your Quality Management System meets the requirements of the ISO 9001:2008 Standard.

Once you have made any changes, you are then moved on to Stage 2 Certification Assessment. At this point, the auditor will check that you are working to the requirements of the Quality Management Systems and ISO 9001:2008 Standards, and that any non-conformance has been addressed.
From here, the auditor will accept the company’s response to any action requests raised, and then put your organisation forward for certification. Once you have received your certificate, your auditor will then conduct an annual visit to ensure that the standard is being met and that you are getting the most out of your ISO 9001 certification.

So, it’s that easy! Just pick up the phone and call us to be on your way to ISO 9001 certification!

We look forward to hearing from you.
