Interface selected to take part in the Vehicle Recycler Certification Scheme

We have some exciting news to share with you all. Interface has been selected to take part in the Vehicle Recycler Certification Scheme!

VRA Certification Ltd

VRA Certification Ltd is an independent not-for-profit company. Their sole purpose is to manage and develop the UK’s Vehicle Recycler Certification Scheme.

Over the last decade, there has been a significant increase in the number of reclaimed parts being sold online. In particular on-line sales platforms, such as eBay.

Whilst this makes purchasing spare parts for your vehicle a far easier process, how can you be assured that the sellers are operating legally?

This is where the Vehicle Recycler Certification Scheme comes in.

The purpose of the scheme is to provide end-users with the confidence that:

Firstly the reclaimed vehicle part has been accurately identified, recorded, tested, removed, and sold by a vehicle recycler that operates a robust Quality Management System.

Secondly that the reclaimed vehicle part has been marketed and sold by a vehicle recycler that has, and abides by, the appropriate environmental authorisations.

You can also find further information on the VRA Certification Ltd website.

What will be Interface’s part in the Vehicle Recycler Certification Scheme?

We have been selected as one of two Certification Bodies who will conduct the audits and provide certification.

Interface will assess a vehicle recycler’s conformance to the UK Standard for Reclaimed Parts from End-of-Life Vehicles. This will be in accordance with the VRAC scheme rules.

Free certification in June

Free VRA Certification is being offered for companies who apply for the scheme in June.
