Last week FSC® launched a new video at The Packaging Innovations Birmingham.
This video showcases the benefits of sourcing and purchasing FSC® certified packaging.
Why have FSC® released this video?
We all know that in recent months there has been a huge shift away from plastic packaging.
But does this mean that paper and paperboard are the right choices as an alternative? Ultimately if the products have been responsibly sourced then yes.
However, if they are not responsibly sourced they can be a product of deforestation.
If this is the case then this presents us with a whole new problem.
This is why it is so important to check that the forest-based products you purchase are certified.
