FSC® Forest Matters April 2022

This months edition contains a case study from Springpack who currently hold their FSC certification with Interface NRM.

We have liaised with Chris at Springpack to publish case studies not only on the FSC website but also on the Interface website too.

In addition to the case study being published on our website, I will also post them across all of our social media pages for exposure.

So many of our customers do not show case their certifications and this is a great place to start!

If you would like to know more about providing us with a case study for publication then please email Amy – [email protected]. We can also contact industry specific publications who will on occasion pick these up and will post on their websites.

Also in this months edition

We are all very aware of the situation in Ukraine and the impact this is having on the import on timber from Russia or Belarus. This months edition contains 2 articles with key information/updates on the situation.

The first article is No material from Russia or Belarus until the invasion ends.

The second of the two articles is Certificates in Ukraine conflict areas suspended

Previously I have blogged about the use of promotional licences. FSC have now created a new video on this same subject which you can view below:

The FSC UK Consumer Survey 2022 have been released. If you only read one article from this edition then I would definitely recommend that this is the one you read! It contains key consumer information about the recognition of the logo. Also feedback on climate change and whether consumers see this as key to their purchasing habits.
