Changes to the FSC® Annual Administration Fees

In July of 2022, there will be some changes to the FSC® Annual Administration Fees (AAF).

The driver behind these changes is to generate additional revenue for FSC to invest in continuing to improve the value of FSC certification.

You can also find out more about this on the FSC Website.

What information will we now need to calculate the AAF?

Whether you are a current certificate holder or looking to obtain certification the information we will need from you to calculate the AAF will be as follows:

  • The date for the start and end of your financial year.
  • Forestry-based revenue for your last financial year.
  • The figures given must be accurate within $10,000

The AAF will be billed in dollars and the conversion rate will be based on the last day of your financial year.

Preferred by Nature™ have also written a blog that explores what these changes will mean in more depth. Here you can read the full article.

Obtain FSC Certification

Firstly you will need to have a Chain of Custody Management System in place for an audit to be conducted against. By far the simplest way to get started is to employ a consultant.

A consultant will come in, evaluate what systems/procedures & documentation you already have in place, and can then work with you to implement a Chain of Custody Management System tailored to your organisation which meets the requirements of the Standard.

Give the Sales Team a call today and we can send you over a list of recommended consultants whose management systems we know and trust!

Once your system is in place, we can move to auditing it. The audit process is simple and we aim to make it as hassle-free for your organisation as possible.
