Amazon rainforest could collapse in a little as 50 years

I was alarmed to read an article the other day on how the Amazon rainforest could collapse in a little as 50 years.

The potential for this to happen primarily comes from global warming and environmental damage. With the Amazon rainforest, this comes in the form of deforestation, pollution, and acidification for corals.

The implications of this could be catastrophic not only for the rainforest itself but also for the people and animals who’s life it sustains.

Chain of Custody Certification

Chain of custody certification helps us to protect these crucial parts of our world.

The Chain goes from the very beginning of the processes right the way to the end. Forest through to end consumer.

Every link within this chain (essentially every person who takes legal possession) must be certified in order for it to continue.

For example, if your suppliers are certified but you are not, then your customers would not be able to actively promote/sell this as a certified item.

It ensures consistency right the way through the supply chain.

How to obtain certification?

Interface NRM are a UKAS and ASI Accredited Certification Body.

We offer Chain of Custody certification.

You can also find further information about this on our website.
