UKAS OHSAS 18001 and ISO 45001

UKAS OHSAS 18001 and ISO 45001

It is now public that UKAS has accredited Interface NRM for OHSAS 18001 Health and Safety Management Systems Certification!

We have known that we had ‘passed’ for several weeks, but could not disclose this until our schedule of accreditation was published by UKAS (here).

This is a great asset for many of our customers, particularly those involved with site-based work such as construction, installation, or operating in public or client spaces.

Subsequently, we have already certified shot-blasting and cleaning companies based in Northampton and Wolverhampton, a construction consultancy based in Telford, and environmental survey company in Gloucestershire, and two large commercial vehicle hire companies operating across the UK.

Moreover, we will over the next few months be able to offer clients the new ISO 45001 certification as a direct and seamless replacement of existing UKAS OHSAS 18001, or a brand new certificate.

What is UKAS OHSAS 18001 and ISO 45001

UKAS OHSAS 18001 and ISO 45001 are internationally recognised standards for Occupational Health and Safety, which an organisation can use to show that they are committed to Health and Safety requirements.

Furthermore, it is the most reliable way of demonstrating compliance in this area, in tender documents and pre-qualification questionnaires.

Additionally UKAS OHSAS 18001 and ISO 45001 can enhance your reputation, attracting new customers to your organisation.
