It also contains information on Futurebuild 2019 which takes place at Londons Excel Centre in March.
Additionally, in March the Irish Stakeholder Workshops will take place. The first will take place in Belfast and the second in Dublin.
PEFC Standard Revisions Update
In November 2018 the PEFC General Assembly approved the revised Sustainable Management standard.
This update includes the Trees Outside Forests Appendix.
They have also expanded on their social requirements in the revised standard. It now has a greater emphasis on human rights, living wages and the promotion of gender equality.
This will mean working conditions must be regularly monitored and adapted as necessary.
