PEFC Forest Certification Week 2018

PEFC Forest Certification Week 2018, takes place next week – 12th to the 16th of November 2018.

The PEFC Forest Certification Week also includes the PEFC General Assembly. This includes meetings and workshops dedicated to PEFC members and invited guests.

As a global organisation with members in 50 countries around the world, they are rarely all in the same place at once.

PEFC week gives them the perfect occasion to update their members, provide training and cover some of the critical issues they face.

This year that will include their new PEFC 2018-2022 strategy, and also the revision of the Sustainable Forest Management Standard and much more.

What is PEFC?

PEFC is the worlds largest forest certification system.

Their credible standards seek to transform the way forests are managed globally, and locally to ensure that all of us can enjoy the environment, social and economic benefits that forests offer.
