What’s included in this month’s edition?

As always there are several different articles included this month. However, there is one which I find of particular interest.

The article in question contains information about The Sustainable Development Goals.

On the 9th of June, a letter was sent to the Prime Minister calling for his use of the UN Sustainable Development Goals to frame the Covid-19 recovery plans.

FSC® UK has joined leaders of more than 100 renowned companies, charities, universities, and trade associations to call on the UK Government to ensure that these goals are at the heart of the recovery plans.

I personally have seen many publications where people are asking for us not to return to the economy we knew before Covid-19.

There is a general feeling that we must now create a ‘new normal’ where we have a fairer, greener global economy.

FSC® Chain of Custody Certification

Over the last couple of weeks, we have seen an increase in the number of enquiries coming through for FSC® Chain of Custody Certification.

I have noted that the majority of these requests have come from customer requests.

Could this mean that it may be true that there will be a shift to the things we do? Who knows I guess only time will tell, but early indications are that this could well be the case!

Clients looking for FSC® Certification

The clients who are looking to obtain certification come from many different industries. This ranges from joiners, packaging manufacturers, printers right the way through to a company who supply fire retardant treated sawdust!

It appears that the demand is on the increase.

Don’t miss out!

Make sure that you do not miss out on any opportunities by ensuring you are FSC® certified.
