Interface NRM Extensions to UKAS Scope

Interface NRM Extensions to UKAS Scope

We have just completed a significant extension to UKAS scope exercise.

UKAS operates by assessing Certification Bodies against ‘EA codes’, which are industrial classifications. Different EA Codes require different auditor skills and industry experience.

Above all probably, our most significant extensions to UKAS scope are for the construction industry, metal manufacturing industries, electrical equipment, and engineering services. This allows us to offer our services to a wider range of clients, whilst still focusing on sectors where we have specific skills.

This is already working out, with us certifying construction companies based in London, Shrewsbury, Telford and Stoke, for ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001.
