IAF CertSearch Is Coming Soon!
Did you know that IAF CertSearch Is Coming Soon?
What is CertSearch?
One of the drawbacks of ISO certification compared to CoC certification is that there has not been a public database of certified companies.
This has led to the proliferation of unaccredited CBs who offer low-cost certification (sometimes £200), sometimes without audit. This is because it is difficult to check the validity of certificates.
The International Accreditation Forum (IAF) is introducing a Certificate Search database for accredited certificates. It is in its very early days, but I wanted you to be aware of it.
Assuming it works out, we will be listing our clients on the database. If it becomes popular and well known, it should make unaccredited certification less of a problem.
