This week FSC® makes it easier to search for certified forests, with the release of ‘FSC on the map’.

It is the first FSC® geospatial platform.

Facts & figures

The second map contains facts and figures for each given country.

It will allow you to drill down to the number of members, Chain of Custody Certificates issued. Plus much more.

They have also developed a map designed to show the distribution of their members.

However, this map only contains information of international members, as they do not have access to national membership data.

Find your nearest FSC® office

Lastly, is the map which allows you to find the information on your nearest FSC® office.

You can locate your nearest office on this map, which will also provide you with their contact details.

All in all, this is a huge step in the right direction.

Not only does it make the information more accessible, but it also makes the whole process more transparent.
