FSC® Forest Matters August 2020

FSC® Forest Matters August 2020

There were 2 things in particular which caught my eye in the FSC® Forest Matters August 2020 edition.

The first of these articles is based around the use of the FSC® labels.

As a trademark approver myself (one of a number within the business), I feel that the webinar they are offering would be of great benefit for all of our certificate holders.

82% of UK consumers say they are either very or fairly likely to buy a product bearing the FSC® logo as opposed to one without.

There is a process to go through in order to use these labels. One of these steps is sending over to us for approval prior to it going live, or being printed.

This is why it is so important to gain as much knowledge first before sending over to us for approval.

The webinar will be held on the 27th of August at 11 am and further information can be found on the registration pages.

The second article is surrounding consumers being more committed to sustainability post lockdown.

You may have seen some of my recent posts around this? The feeling we are getting is that this article is very accurate and there is a bit step towards this of late.

The research conducted by Essity shows that consumers desire to make more environmentally conscious choices. You can also read the full article here.
