Climate Change

Through photosynthesis, trees are a large contributor to the removal of CO2 from our atmosphere.

They pull the gas from the air to help grow their leaves, branches, and also roots.

Additional carbon dioxide within our atmosphere increases the greenhouse effect. This gas becomes trapped and causes the planet to be warmer than would naturally occur.

FSC® also has a page on their website dedicated to climate change. It includes lots more interesting documents and videos.
