First edition of Forest Matters for 2021
FSC® have just published their first edition of Forest Matters for 2021.
This months edition
The recording of the December webinar has now been made available to view online. If you currently hold an FSC® certification then please take the time to watch this recording if you did not participate in the original webinar. It gives a great insight into the labels and how your business can use them to promote your certification.
In addition to this, there are a number of articles surrounding packaging. Most importantly that these products are environmentally sustainable.
Although everyone’s main focus has been on COVID-19 of late, the discussions around global warming are still taking place. In particular what we can all do to combat this so these articles make for interesting reading.
There is also an article on innovation in the packaging sector. These are new products which are coming onto the market. One of which really caught my eye! It is a translucent barrier paper that can be used as an alternative to plastics in packaging. Have we finally found a product that could rival plastics in particular in packaging – wouldn’t it be fantastic if we have?
