UKAS ISO 9001 certification is typically valid for a period of three years. During this time, you must undergo annual surveillance audits to ensure continued compliance with the standard’s requirements. These audits are essential to verify that the quality management system is being effectively maintained and is achieving continual improvement. At the end of the three-year cycle, you must undergo a recertification audit to renew certification. This involves a comprehensive review to confirm that the quality management system remains compliant with the ISO 9001 standard. Successful completion of this process results in the renewal of the certification for another three-year term.
