We start with a stage 1 audit to see how you are complying, if there are any potential issues or nonconformances they will usually be found at this stage. Then there will be the Stage 2 audit when we effectively audit your whole system, report on your compliance and issue your certificate.

ISO 14001 is the Environmental Management System (EMS) Standard set by the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO).

A 14001 EMS will allow your company to demonstrate how you are dedicated to reducing your impact on the environment. With an emphasis on enhancing your environmental performance while fulfilling legal compliance obligations and addressing any risks and opportunities. The framework within the Standard follows the Plan, Do, Check, Act cycle which allows your organisation to drive continual improvement and achieve your environmental goals.

Anyone can implement the requirements of 14001, and you probably have more in place already than you realise.

Contact us today to schedule a Gap Analysis and we can help you identify which of the 14001 requirements you may not yet be meeting.

ISO 14001 Certification is when an impartial Certification Body visits your business and compares your documentation and activities to the framework of the 14001 Environmental Standard requirements.

We make sure we’re fair and objective. We aren’t there to pick holes; we are there to measure how you comply to the standard. Any discoveries along the way will be discussed with you. There’s no such thing as a failed audit!

We offer UKAS Recognised ISO 14001 Certification. The United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) have Accredited us to Certify you. UKAS is the only recognised accreditation body in the UK; non-UKAS certification is frankly not worth the hassle and won’t win you any tenders.

ISO refers to the International Organization for Standardization, who set out the standards to which we audit against.

14001 is the standard for Environmental Management (EMS).

ISO 14001 EMS will allow your company to demonstrate how you are dedicated to reducing your impact on the environment.

Once you have your Environmental Management System in place an impartial Certification Body (such as Interface) will visit your business to compare your documentation and activities to the framework of the ISO 14001 Environmental Standard requirements.

If you do not have a Management System in place at the moment, don’t panic. You probably have many of the systems in place you need to meet the requirements of the Standard.
