Why did you want to apply for ISO 9001 and 14001 Certification?
As an expanding company, it is important for our customers and supporters to know that we care about them, the environment, and our end product.
We endeavor to be a company that is environmentally aware, using the best possible practice, and working with great suppliers.
We hoped to achieve this certification to improve our business process and allow us to work more efficiently.
What attracted you to use Interface in particular for your ISO 9001 and 14001 Certification?
A lot of research went into finding the right company to carry out our audit. At the time of researching companies, we had a university apprentice who worked hard to find the right company.
Ultimately, the outstanding reviews, combined with some great case studies swayed our decision in the end.
How did you find the ISO 9001 and 14001 process?
Our office manager worked with a consultant, who supported us with the design and implementation of our system. It was certainly challenging at times but overall was an enjoyable experience.
The external auditor was calming and helpful which made the audit stages run smoothly.
What benefit do you think ISO 9001 and 14001has had or will have on the company?
Gaining ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certification will help us as a company strive to make continuous improvements and keep our processes under review and up to date.
This will also help our staff to better understand the importance of the work they are carrying out. As well as the impact their work has on the environment and how this ties in with overall company processes.
