This month Changes to FSC® trademark registration list have been released.

You can download the new list on the FSC Trademark Portal.

It includes updates on the new registrations of trademarks in Azerbaijan, Brazil and Ghana plus others.

New standard for FSC® project certification

In addition to the above on the 1st of November a new standard for project certification has also been published.

This standard will become effective on the 1st February 2020.

You can view and download the normative documents at the following links:

FSC-STD-40-006 V2-0: https://fsc.org/en/document-centre/documents/resource/415

FSC-STD-20-011 V4-1: https://fsc.org/en/document-centre/documents/resource/267

New interpretation to FSC-STD-50-001 V2-0

FSC® have also recently published the following interpretation:

The licence code – as defined in Annex D of FSC-STD-50-001 V2-0 – includes the trademark symbol in its format (FSC® C######). Provided that the licence code is used in a body of text and the trademark symbol is added to the FSC initials in the same text, is it necessary to add the trademark symbol in the licence code?

You can also view the whole document in the document centre.
