We are Accredited by UKAS, which is the sole national accreditation body recognised by government to assess, against internationally agreed standards, as to Interface’s competency and ability to provide Certification against ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
See our accreditation here: ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, we were also one of the very first Certification Bodies within the UK to achieve the 17021:2011 accreditation whilst others were (or still are) accredited to the old 17021:2006 standard. Therefore, Certification with Interface gives assurance of national recognition to the latest standards.
Here you can view Interface in the UKAS Directory for Quality Management and the UKAS Directory for Environmental Management.
If getting quotes from other Certification Bodies, we would strongly recommend you check the validity of their accreditation; UKAS is the only UK Accreditation Body. Using “non accredited” or other Certification Bodies accredited with non IAF members could leave you with a Certificate that is not accepted or recognised as part of your PPQs or Tender documents, please see the attached document for further information UKAS Why Risk it?
All our Assessors are IRCA qualified and are highly experienced practitioners in managing and auditing systems. For information on the Certification process of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, please download our Guide to Certification.
Being independently assessed and certified gives you credibility and helps attract new customers. However, we’ve found many of our clients do not have the resources, time or expertise in house to achieve this on their own. That’s why we have established a network of independent associate Consultants who we can connect you with, who can give you the expert advice you need. Our associates can help you put industry best practice into place within your business. They can also support you throughout implementation as you work towards ISO 9001 certification and ISO 14001 Certification – sharing their knowledge of regulatory requirements and showing you how to stay resilient and responsive. This way, we maintain our impartiality as an independent certification body and you get the best independent support and advice you need as a business to succeed.
We do not represent, recommend or certify these consultants, but we do know that our associates across the UK have extensive experience of working with and establishing certified management systems. They can help you get to where you want to be as efficiently and effectively as possible.
If you wish to check the validity of a certificate or registration, please contact us with the name and certificate number and we will check our database of certified businesses and provide you with information regarding the validity of the certificate. Likewise, if you have a complaint about a certified client, the certification process or other aspects of Interface, please contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org or you can formally write to us detailing your concerns.
